As the son of two journalists, Henry Palattella always knew that he wanted to be a sports writer.

After working as a stringer at his local paper in high school, Henry went to college and dove headfirst into journalism. That passion for writing has only grown.

Prior to joining the Forbes Betting team in early 2024, Henry worked for The Lorain Morning Journal, Cleveland Magazine and MLB.com (where he still helps out on game coverage from time to time).

After sports betting became legal in his home state of Ohio in early 2023, he was immediately drawn into covering sports in this new area which scratched the analytical part of his brain. He immediately parlayed that curiosity into a job writing for DraftKings Network, where he made daily betting picks along with covering the news of the sports world.

Now, with sports betting growing faster than any industry before it, Henry’s excited to follow Forbes Betting’s mission of providing bettors with insightful and honest insight on the sports betting landscape.
