New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Week 5 MNF Best Prop Bets

After a weekend of high-scoring games and shocking upsets, Week 5 of the 2024-25 NFL season ends with an intriguing Monday Night Football matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs.

Both squads have looked like Super Bowl contenders in the early going. The Saints blew out their first two opponents before suffering back-to-back close losses, while the Chiefs are the AFC’s only undefeated team at 4-0.

With Patrick Mahomes facing the NFL’s highest-scoring offense, there could be plenty of fireworks on Monday night. That makes this matchup rife with prop bets for NFL bettors to target for star players like Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Alvin Kamara.

With that in mind, here are the best NFL prop bets to target for this game at our best NFL betting sites.

Best Week 5 MNF Props

  • Alvin Kamara Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Kamara has scored in three of four games so far, racking up five touchdowns. Given his heavy volume (20-plus touches in every game), he’s a good bet to find the end zone again.
  • Travis Kelce Over 57.5 Receiving Yards: Kelce finally came alive last week, emerging from his slow start with seven catches on nine targets for 89 yards. After losing top receiver Rashee Rice to a knee injury last week, Mahomes will likely continue to lean on Kelce in his absence.
  • Chris Olave Over 4.5 Receptions: After a slow start, Olave has hauled in 14 of 16 targets for 173 receiving yards and a touchdown over his last two games combined. Look for him to exploit a Chiefs secondary that ranks 22nd in passing yards allowed per game.
  • Chris Olave Over 59.5 Receiving Yards: Olave has topped 80 receiving yards in three straight games and is averaging 69.4 receiving yards per game in his career. He also leads New Orleans in receiving yards this year (66.3 per game) and should be heavily involved on Monday night.
  • Patrick Mahomes Over 0.5 Interceptions: Mahomes has thrown at least one interception in every game this season, getting picked off five times. His 4.1% interception rate is the highest of his career, while the Saints rank third in the NFL with six picks (1.5 per game).
