Week 5 of the 2024-25 NFL season kicks off with an NFC South showdown on Thursday Night Football between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons.

Led by a surprisingly dominant first month from Baker Mayfield, the Buccaneers have jumped out to a 3-1 start and will stay atop the division with another win. Meanwhile, the Falcons have started 2-2 under new QB Kirk Cousins, who is already playing in his third primetime game this season.

Can Mayfield and Tampa Bay keep rolling? Or will Cousins lead Atlanta to its first winning streak of the year?

There are plenty of NFL prop bets to target for this division rivalry game at our best NFL betting sites. Based on our research and recent trends, here are the best prop bets to target.

Best Week 5 TNF Props

  • Bijan Robinson Anytime Touchdown Scorer: The Bucs have been getting gashed on the ground, giving up seven rushing touchdowns (fourth-most in NFL) through their first four games. Robinson is averaging 17.5 touches per game this year, so look for the Falcons’ lead back to take advantage and punch one in.
  • Rachaad White Over 34.5 Rushing Yards: White has struggled with his efficiency this year but is coming off a season-high 49 rushing yards on 10 carries last week. He’s notched double-digit carries in three of four games so far, so he should get enough volume to exploit Atlanta’s porous run defense (eighth-most rushing yards allowed).
  • Baker Mayfield Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns: Mayfield is playing some of the best football of his career right now with eight touchdown passes in four games this season. Bet on him staying hot Thursday, especially with the game taking place indoors.
  • Kirk Cousins Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns: Cousins has hit the Under on this prop in three of four games this season and has just one passing touchdown over his last two games combined. Given his long history of struggles in primetime, this is a good spot to fade him.
  • Kirk Cousins Over 0.5 Interceptions: Cousins has already thrown four interceptions this year, getting picked off in three of four games. He’ll likely need to throw a lot to keep up with Mayfield, which will give Tampa Bay’s defense plenty of chances for an interception.

Odds and lines will vary based on the NFL prop betting site. Betting on the NFL can cause problems for some players. Always gamble responsibly by setting a budget and understanding the vig.
