What Types of Bets Can I Do With DraftKings Sportsbook?

You can place a variety of different bets with DraftKings. Here’s a look at some of the most popular ones.

  • Moneyline: Betting on who wins the game or event outright.
  • Spread: Betting on the margin of victory for a game or event. You can bet on the favorite to win by a certain number of points or for the underdog to lose by a certain number of points or win the game outright.
  • Totals: Also known as Over/Under, this is a wager on the total number of points scored in the contest.
  • Props: With prop bets, you have game or single-player bets. Some popular examples include the Gatorade color at the end of a Super Bowl, a quarterback’s total passing yards or an MLB player’s total hits in a game. In Ohio, these kinds of bets can only be made on professional sports; betting on college props is illegal in Ohio.
  • Parlay: A parlay combines multiple wagers (known as “legs”) into a single bet, and every leg must win for the bet to win. Because of the added risk, parlay odds and payouts are higher than straight bets. At DraftKings, you can also wager on same-game parlays and progressive parlays.
  • Futures: Wagers on future events, like which team will win the Super Bowl or which player will win the MVP award.
