Is BetMGM Legal in Pennsylvania?
Yes, BetMGM is legal in Pennsylvania. It launched its mobile app and sports betting company in the state in December 2020 and has since become one of the state’s top sportsbooks.
Pennsylvania was one of the first states to legalize sports betting after the U.S. Supreme Court justices deemed the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) unconstitutional in May 2018.
While BetMGM was a little late joining the state, it immediately became one of the most well-known sportsbooks in the state due to his partnership with the Steelers.
There are 12 other online sportsbooks in Pennsylvania, which means that BetMGM has a ton of competition in the betting market in the Keystone State. As a result, BetMGM has done more to increase its presence in the state, ranging from providing more profit boosts to its aforementioned ad campaigns featuring celebrities.
BetMGM Pennsylvania Promotion
Like many sportsbooks, BetMGM has a special welcome offer for new customers in Pennsylvania. These promotions are meant to attract new users to sign up for the sportsbook and often include enticing offers like getting bonus bets for wagering a small amount of money.
These promotions allow new customers to explore the sportsbook and wager on different markets to see if they like the experience. They also require users to deposit money and make at least one bet at the sportsbook to claim the promotion.
Sportsbooks also have offers for existing customers, such as daily profit boosts and referral bonuses, but they are not as generous as the welcome offers for first-time users.
